Daily Report
If Studio Helper is an upgrade from Music teacher Helper, I am wondering why there are very important key elements missing from Studio Helper such as the daily report that is emailed each day showing you at a glance what the schedule looks like.

Remove the area that shows you the name of your studio and today's date. Put in in that small area next to Overview | Help.
This is a HUGE waste of space on my screen. A lot of us have MacBook Airs, iPads or netbooks. On these screens that banner is a huge waste of screen real estate. In the calendar screen, for example, when I expand categories or locations on the right, I can only see three options at a time. Maybe you could have an option in settings for compact view vs. expanded view.

add a pay teacher "per student" rate.
Instead of a percentage of package or hourly or other just a flat per student per month or week or lesson. But at least month.
5 votesFor now you can use the flat rate per month. Since it is a flat rate no matter if you use packages or students.

Allow Staff to filter family accounts report by instructor
Please allow the staff members to filter the family account report by Instructor. As the admin I am able to do this and it makes collecting the tuition's much easier because I can give this specific report to each instructor as needed

I really think we should have an option to show how much the parents are paying for each lesson. I log in as a teacher and when i check "
Hi cathy, I really don't think the teachers should see how much the parents are paying. As I log in as a teacher, i clicked "report", "Lesson Taught" and checked "show lesson cost", it shows that he supposed to make $1440 instead of $820 what I am paying for. He will feel bad about working for me and take all the students away from me. Please give the administrator to have an option to show the lesson cost or not.

Past Due Reminder
Hi -
I have been using Studio Helper since 2015, and thank you so much for the great service.
I wanted to suggest one idea. I think it would be very helpful if we have a system template for Past Due Invoices.
With the current system, we can only re-send the invoice, which does not emphasize the invoice is past due. So we need to send a separate email to notify clients that this is past due. If you can add a feature to re-send an invoice with different system template from Invoice template, it would be very helpful.

Add a counter feature to count the number of months a student has been enrolled.
We offer rewards to our students based on the length of time they have been registered. It becomes difficult when students leave for months at a time and return. According to their enrollment date, on paper it looks like they've been enrolled for longer than they actually were.

possible event enrollment to show in the side column when the parents logged in?
Would it be possible to make "special event enrollment" to show up in the side column when the parents logged into the site? Please guide me step by step. Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion. I will put it under review so we can see if we can implement that. Right now you do have an enrollment for you can use for open events on the calendar. However, you have to create them not the parent. If you need help please contact support@studiohelper.com -
Improve calendar navigation among recurring events
Provide method within the event screen to navigate to next and previous events among a recurring series of events. It could be just links that say "next | previous" or something similar.
It would also be helpful to have a direct link to the teacher and student profile pages from within the event screen.

Please add a detailed report for itemized sales tax collected.
Please add a detailed report for itemized sales tax. Lesson are not taxable, however music books, Tshirt etc are taxable. A report is needed that can be filterable by date (year/quarter), and will show all invoices that include taxable inventory. The ability to pull a report that has an itemized list of sales taxes paid is critical for accounting purposes. It needs to be filterable by date, amount, invoice number and includes a total so we don't have to go through a whole year of invoices just to look for tax amounts. Add a 'Fees charged'/transactions list
As in MTH, I can charge a fee anytime to a student, and it shows up on their invoice and transaction history. This is a great feature because I don't have to try to remember until the invoices are created at the end of the month. I can charge it as soon as it happens, and the invoice system pulls the info and includes on the total.
It helps me not forget money that is owed! I use this mostly for music purchased for students.
I think this would be a great addition to the current "add line item" feature.

create an alternative Practice Log design appealing to children
I'm curious whether the practice log feature has been popular in studios amongst the young students. Because I find the display is fine for adult students but for children it wouldn't be appealing enough to begin using it or to continue to do so in the long term. It would be nice to have an alternative display that has bubbly graphics, maybe something with stars or like this for instance:

Packages to be Exportable
We have a lot of packages registered. Maintaining them within studiohelper has gotten very difficult. We are not able to compare what was previously there and what has been changed.

lessons taught report, please add multiple locations
Hi,
This would be extremely helpful to break down teaching locations on the totals at the bottom of the lessons taught report., since in our case teachers are paid different rates for example in studio, or in-home etc.....

Add an "Archive" button to the actions available on the invoice page so that we can move old invoices out of the active file, but have them
If we left all of our customers' paid invoice in the file, we would have thousands per year. Currently, the only way to remove them is to print to a pdf and save them on our own hard drive. Once deleted, payment records indicate the payment amount and date, but no invoice to reference. An "archive" file on SH would be accessible, but not cumbersome.

create registration page instead of html custom widget
It would be great to have standard regstration pages for private lessons, art classes, etc... right now i'm doing double entry for each new student.
4 votesWe’ll be working on a new registration and booking system that will make it easier for students to register for specific classes, or for you to do so with a much simpler interface. This is still a ways off, but we wanted to let you know we’re planning on it.

filter lessons taught report by attendance status
It would be helpful to have the capacity to review a report of all absences, cancellations and "Not Set" to follow up with students or teachers
3 votesWe will review this after it has garnered enough votes. In the meantime, the lessons taught report does filter for attended, absent and cancelled as one of your filter selections. For not set, you would have to make note of them manually.
