No Reply Option
Parents are 'replying' to the automated reminders instead of creating a separate email for a non-reminder related question. And, I'm overlooking them because it's connected to the reminder. Or, if I send a mass email & get multiple replies for various questions it becomes very cumbersome.

Auto-Update "School, Grade" field
Right now, there is one field in the registration form called "School and Grade". Is it possible to make this into two fields, "School" and "Grade", and have the grade section automatically advance by one at the end of each August?
There is no way we can afford to pay a staff member to update the grades manually one by one each year, and if the field can't stay not up-to-date, it is useless.

create an alternative Practice Log design appealing to children
I'm curious whether the practice log feature has been popular in studios amongst the young students. Because I find the display is fine for adult students but for children it wouldn't be appealing enough to begin using it or to continue to do so in the long term. It would be nice to have an alternative display that has bubbly graphics, maybe something with stars or like this for instance:

Easily allow admins to be teachers
It would be nice to have a streamlined way to allow admins (me, a studio owner) to have one login for admin and teaching. Currently I have to have a different login and email. If it could be one login, and then we could switch the view upon entering the sight.

create a contact log for potential students.
There should be a way to log the contact you have made with potential clients. You should also be able to mark which potential clients need follow up and be able to assign it to a member of your staff on their todo list.

Additional Information on System Templates
Suggest adding information in the blue ? box for system templates that even if you have the information between the % signs typed as it appears (lower/upper case and no spaces), that you also cannot apply any formatting such as bold, italic, hyperlinks, etc.

Show event category in Schedule tab of Profile
Within the Profile pages, under the Schedule tab, it would be very useful to see the category of upcoming events. It's impossible to know whether the event listed is a class, make up, canceled, etc. And for teachers who don't have calendar editing permissions, they cannot click the event to see the details from that screen.
I know that it's possible to see event categories in the Agenda view of the calendar, but including it on the Profile Schedule would be useful for several groups and circumstances.

CRM Capability (Ability to log and track client communications)
It would be fantastic to have a tab available under the student or family to accurately log calls, emails and communication.
Even a simple text box such as this would be sufficient.
For example
Tues. Feb. 24 - client called to cancel lesson tomorrow. Teacher notified via email.

Tuesday Jan. 17th. Was able to accommodate a new lesson time on Wednesday @ 4:30. Confirmed with parent over the phone, teacher notified by email.

Create a "Preferred method of Contact" for Students, Parents, Teachers
Today, I had a teacher with several students need to cancel lessons. I used StudioHelper to email the affected students and parents, but learned that while some got the email in time, others don't/can't check email, and needed a phone call or text.
I suggest you create something that allows a "preferred method of contact" with the ability to include an email, or text number, or telephone number, and some way to see that information in a list of contacts.

Alphabetize Registration drop down menu
Hey,
We run a music school with a LOT of different course offerings. Students often take more than one lesson (vocals AND ukulele AND a group class, etc) and want everything available as a line item on their bill.
As a result, we have had to make a huge number of packages in the registration section.
Right now, if I go to the registration section of SH...all of the packages sort alphabetically.
If I try to pick a registration package the drop down menu on the student's page...the packages appear chronologically (according to creation date).This makes searching among our…

Make A Checkbox For Duplicate Info On The Registration Form
When filling out the parent of a student on the registration form, often times there is duplicate information (email, phone, etc..). It would make it much more seamless if there was an option on the parents reg. form next to these boxes you could check that would carry this data over from the students registration.

Add a counter feature to count the number of months a student has been enrolled.
We offer rewards to our students based on the length of time they have been registered. It becomes difficult when students leave for months at a time and return. According to their enrollment date, on paper it looks like they've been enrolled for longer than they actually were.

Make it possible in families under people list to choose "active"
The "family" area under "people" needs more smarts so you have a button to choose "active" rather than all families at once.
Also it would be useful to have a total of this at the bottom of the page.

Availability Times in Quarter Hours
In the time drop down menus in teacher availability, there are options in 10 minute intervals. However, at my studio, we have many classes that run on the quarter hours. Could you add an option for 15 and 45 in there so that I can best line up teacher availability and class times?

make alerts for students when they've been on the roster for a full year.
Similar to the birthday alerts on the Overview screen, an alert for student 'anniversaries' would be very helpful to client retention! We try to give students some reward when they hit a year with us, and this feature would help ensure that we don't miss any! Thanks for considering.

Teachers access to emails
I would just like to suggest that in the "People" section, that teachers shouldn't be able to view student or parents emails addresses.
Or perhaps create an option in "Permissions" where it specifies that they can't access any details (except names) of students or parents.

End Date or Date of Last Lesson added to Student Profiles
The "Reason For Leaving" dropdown menu is most helpful. Could we also have the ability to indicate the last date of a students lesson or the date when a student ends their lessons. This would be very helpful information to have on hand. The ability to run a report for this information would also be great.

Rotating Student Schedules
In the UK, Australia and NZ, school based instrumental lessons are based on rotating lessons every week. There is currently no software on the market that will do this and so we have to timetable manually. If you could add this feature, you would have an exclusive product in three huge music markets!

Have the student's teacher show up in the drop-down "people" menu.
When students log in, the only "people" that they can see are their own family. It would be good if their teacher's name and email address would be in the drop-down menu - as well as the contact email for the studio.
