I am closing this as it is complete. For those who are wanting something different please put in another suggestion. We do have pay rates now and you can enter per hour, percentage per package and flat monthly rates. For those who pay by the half hour you can use the half hour amount in the per hour and it should work for you.

change attendance notes to be emailed to parents when students have no email.
Currently, teachers cannot have attendance notes sent to parents when the student's email is blank. This option currently works for staff members and above, but it is most important for the teachers. Our parents like and expect to receive the notes for their children.

Add ability to send email directly from student/parent's profile screen
Having to use the mass email feature is tedious when I am dealing with a parent or student and need access to their information as I write them an email. I'd love to be able to have an option to 'email student' directly from their profile page.

Please make a System template reminder for Cancellation
if a class is cancelled and we mark it as cancelled, students still receive an email as Event Reminder. I keep having this problem and my customer call me back all the time and say oh, we just cancelled the lesson for tomorrow why we receive the note says this is a reminder of the event instead of saying it is a confirmation that your class is cancelled. update calendar display based on Studio Availability
if admin selects option for Studio Availability (and provides operating hours by day), can calendar be set to view those hours instead of 12AM to 12AM for all 7 days of the week?
17 votesThis ticket was chosen to be planned 4 years ago, and we failed to update you on this. Currently, if you go to Settings → Studio Settings, and you set a Start Time and End Time in the Preferences column (right below the Time Zone), the calendar will not display any time slots before the start time or after the end time.
After reviewing this, it appears to me that it meets the needs of what was originally asked for here, so I’m marking this one as Completed. If there is something different that is needed, please contact us by sending an email to support@studiohelper.com.

Entering Expenses needs to have the same 'Save and add another' option that adding payments for invoices has.
Each time I add an expense it goes to a different screen. It needs to have a 'save and add another' function. This would be a massive time saver.

Additional Filter Criteria for Mass Email
I would like to add one more search criteria for mass email. My company provides music lessons in the home and I have to match instructors with students based on instrament and location. An additional filter (similar to classes) would be great.

Integrate the ability to block out dates like in Music Teacher's Helper
Our music studio has variable schedules. For example, some of our teachers teach half-hour weekly lessons, some teacher 1 hour biweekly lessons, and others teach 45 minute lessons with one week off each month. This week is variable because the week off always coincides with a statutory holiday. Since we have 85 teachers, this would be idea if each teacher can block out their own dates.

32 votesIt’s unclear to me when this was changed, but currently, if you have more than 7 teachers, it will show them all. This makes for a very difficult calendar to read for many cases, but I would say this is completed.

Single-Day or week Event Deletion
Enable single-day or multiple day deletion on the calendar to allow our school to show its holidays/break days... instead of having to delete each teacher's classes/lessons one event at a time for the entire day or week(s). This would be very helpful.

Could you please keep this request for when you review the reports and add the email address field in the Registration report.
I hate to be a nag but I have requested this twice before in my 2 years using Studio Helper.

No longer charge for former students
Currently the software bills for inactive students and one has to manually delete any students that are currently inactive to avoid being billed for them. The additional charge per student is stomach able as it is assumed that if one has additional active students they will have be making enough money to not mind the additional little slice of the pie being given out. However, the deletion of former students messes up both some of the current reports, past invoices, and most of the records associated with the account. Please change the billing feature to only charge to active students…

Be able to control times that are shown on the calendar
HOW ABOUT BEING ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE TIMES ON THE CALENDAR-FOR EXAMPLE WE DO NOT TEACH LESSONS AT 2 IN THE MORNING! MOST OF OUR LESSONS ARE AFTER SCHOOL AND IN THE EVENINGS-IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE THE CALENDAR THEY WAY WE WANT IT, AND NOT HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN FROM 12AM TO SEE THE 4PM
52 votesI’m happy to say that this is now possible. If you go to Settings → Studio Settings, you can specify the start and end times that are visible on the calendar for each day.

sort by teacher AND student for mass emails
I would like to send mass emails to the students of a particular teacher or teachers. There is no button that allows me to sort first by teacher, and then have the students of that particular teacher appear.
This has been hugely inconvenient, especially since in the reports area, where I can sort by teacher and students, the email address does not appear in the roster, only street address. So I can't even copy and paste. The only thing that has worked thus far is if I log out, log in again as one of my teachers and then send…3 votes -
Payroll tool with only lessons paid by students that haven't been paid to teachers yet
We currently have to post the schedule and invoices in AIMsi and SH. This is the only way I can get an accurate listing of what lessons are paid for so teachers are only paid for those lessons. I emailed tech support a copy of the report I currently use, but we want to get away from AIMsi completely and can't until I can accurately do payroll without it. Having to run the schedule in both system is causing human errors and resulting in scheduling issues.

Create a field for gender
When entering "people" data, I would like to suggest there is a option for Gender. In our multicultural society and with such a variety of names in existence, you can not always tell the gender of a person based on their christian name alone. Regards, Rachel

Track teacher pay rates, and reports for teacher performance
I currently use the lessons taught report and cross reference other sources to pay my teachers.
I would like to use studio helper to:
- track pay rate by teacher
- track how much I owe them
- track/schedule payment datesIn addition, (another feature set) I would like to track teacher performance based on studio helper data including: Retention rate (average time a student stays with the teacher), trial lesson conversions, absenteeism, referrals)
I'm fairly new to the program so I may be missing the ability to do some of this already......
