Automatic recurring credit card billing!!!
To automatically charge credit cards for lessons, in place of just invoices. I like getting the money in the account, and not spending my time collecting invoices. The commitment to pay for lessons on a monthly agreement is much easier. I will use this program when monthly billing can be done automatically, not invoices.
You can now charge your students an automatic recurring payment via credit card! You can charge them weekly or monthly, but the amount must be the same each period.

Is it possible to connect other billing systems besides Authorize or Paypal? I currently use Recharge billing because of the much lower cost than the others currently listed. Please make it possible to use other systems.

Same amount would be fine.

Same amount is OK!

Can I add that it might also be helpful to be able to do an automatic bank draft? Not just credit cards.

I hope you add this service asap. The amount will be the same each month. I am hesitant to use authorize.net because it is another step. Usually if parents signs up for an extra class or activity, they pay for that extra class/activity up front.

It would be pretty easy for us to add an option on the payment form for students to create a subscription that charges the same amount automatically every month (either using a Paypal "subscribe" button or using Authorize.net's recurring billing options). However, these do not allow you to change the amount, so you wouldn't be able to auto-bill a different amount each month in this case. (Extra charges would need to be paid for separately and initiated by the student.) Would this be sufficient or are you looking for more control than that? Please leave your feedback.

Feel free to to hit the "subscribe" button on our link below to see where it takes you (up to the point of actually paying, obviously)

I agree. We have automatic billing for our studio through Paypal, and still find that the functionality of Studio Helper is very very useful, though I agree it'd be much better if they integrated. We made a subscribe "button". See an example of ours here

The way our current system works is that we store each customers credit card or checking account info on their billing info page. We set them up for a date to run the charge. Everyone we have set up for that date runs in a batch through the gateway and automatically credits their account. Pretty slick. Verification numbers from the processing companies are shown on the transaction page and any that did not go through have a decilined message associated with the transaction.

We are currently using a different system, not Studio Helper. The only thing that is keeping me from making the switch to studio help is their lack of this feature.

We'd like to add this, too. Both authorize.net and Paypal allow you to setup recurring payments from within those systems, but the amount will be the same each month (ie. $100/month every month). Are you looking to automatically charge different amounts each month, or will the same amount be okay?
