When my studio is closed, I don't delete all the lessons from that day because I need to reconcile each week at the end of the year to see when students come, when the studio is closed, when lessons are cancelled, etc... So let's say I have 8 students on the 4th of July this year. From what I can tell, here is the process I have to take in order to make sure everyone is cancelled: 1. Go to calendar tab 2. Click Calendar 3. Find the 4th of July date 4. Click on that date 5. Find the student's time slot . 6. Click Edit 7. Click Attendance tab 8. Select Cancelled. Then in the comment box, I type the reason why the lesson was cancelled (e.g. "Studio closed for 4th of July", or "Lesson Cancelled by student within 24 hours because of illness - no make-up", etc...) Then type the word "cancelled" in the description box so that parents will know the lesson is cancelled in their automatic lesson reminders. Click Save. Click “This Time Only” so that it's not a global event. Then I have to do the entire thing over again for each student because the calendar defaults back to the current date, not the 4th of July. There must be an easier way!
