Teachers need to be able to see each other's contact info. That way they don't have to contact the administrator!!
If teachers who share a client for different services need to change their student's schedule, they must be able to see what other teachers their student is linked to, and be able to contact that teacher.

Create a self-scheduling option
At the beginning of every year, fitting students into a workable schedule is a nightmare. I currently use pick-a-time.com to show parents the available lesson slots and allow them to choose their preferred time. Would love to see something like this built into Studio Helper.

Ability to integrate fully with authorize.net
I use authorize.net for other parts of my business, and one requirement of mine is that we have a card code. Since we rely heavily on students paying their invoices online, can you please add a form part for the 3 or 4 digit card code so that students may pay via the invoice?
Currently because my authorize.net requirement is the card number, date of expiration, and card code, I cannot accept payments through the invoice and the error reads "card code required".

Allow Coloring By Location
It would be great for a lessons studio if we were allowed to color-code based on location rather than or as well as category. As a studio, color coding by location would be easier because then the category could be the instrument, whereas now we just list category and location as the same thing (room #).
i.e. Room 1 = Red and then Category = guitar (or piano, or voice)
3 votesI don’t think this will be considered since Event Categories are already color-coded. It would be confusing to give another color for the same event if it already has an event category. I would suggest that you use the event category to classify your events per location to take advantage of the color-coding feature. Would like a report to search former students by instrument
So that you can focus on getting more students back for a certain instrument - for example if our drum teacher doesn't have enough students or needs more students to open-up a certain day - we can try to contact those former ones and try to get them to come back

Negative # on Invoices
NEED to be able to enter a negative number on invoices, for credits etc. Surely this is not hard to do. Your invoicing needs to be able to do what typical invoicing software can do. How about % feature for discounts etc.

add a payment report showing payments per package.

I want to be able to generate a payment report within a time period that indicates the payments according to packages? My teachers are all paid a percentage of the tuition that is paid for lessons with them. Therefore, I need some way to show who paid what toward each type of teacher package.

add a "seasonal" or "short term" to the status
hello, just want to start by saying, I LOVE Studio helper, i am still on the trial but i am definitely buying it this week. it's exactly what i've been looking for for a couple of years. it's worth the research i put into finding something :-)
so, our studio runs during the year only, we take july and august off. However, we have a couple of students who come from out of town to do lessons in the summers only, so i make that exception for them. just wondering, would there be a chance we can have an addition…

Chronological Order for Automatic Billing From Calendar
Put dates in order on the invoice
When I do an invoice using the "Enable Automatic Billing From Calendar" --
the dates are all over the place. It would be helpful to me and to the
parents if the dates were in chronological order.Thanks!

Have Elavon Support
There is an online merchant service called Elavon, which is very similar to authorize.net. It would be nice to have that available in Studio Helper.

Set up "daily" recurring events for only Monday-Friday
I do several summer classes that meet on a daily basis....but only Monday thru Friday. As far as I can tell, there is no option to make a class repeat daily, but not include Saturday and Sunday. It would be helpful to be able to do this, so that this large block class is not indicating that our only large room is already in use on Saturdays during those weeks.
1 voteThe option to repeat on specific days of the week is found in the “weekly” repeat option. Choose “weekly”, then put a checkmark in the days you want the event created (ie. Mon-Fri). If you choose the “daily” repeat option, it implies every day.

Allow for events to occur over multiple days
I.E. Add an option to have an appointment start at 11pm on the 1st and end at 2am on the second. This Causes a lot of duplicate work on our end because we run a recording studio which operates 24hrs a day.

don't send reminder every time I adjust an event in the calendar
If I've selected remind teacher & parents/students for an event and then make an adjustment to the event (usually to correct an error, the system automatically sends out a reminder. As I've made numerous typos in the process of setting up my summer calendar, I have accidentally inundated students with endless incorrect reminders.
I know I could turn off the who to remind things -- but then I'll forget to turn them back on.
My preference would be for the reminder to go out as scheduled (I usually use 12 hours before) and let me decide if I want a…

Have an area in invoice for us to permanently have payment options.
I often forget to cut and paste bank details in every invoice and would love to have those details be permanent
3 votesWe already have this feature in place. Just edit the Invoice Email template and go to People > Email Templates > System Templates and click Customize Invoice. From there, you can add your bank details so that it will always be included in future invoice notifications that you will send out.

Allow Custom Template Text in Invoices
Currently, the invoice template only allows one line of template text that can be added in the settings page, which will then be reflected in the invoices.
This is not enough.
A custom footer text should be added to allow us to input additional payment information as a template for all invoice - E.g. "Please make all checks payable to XXX".1 votenot enough interest

I think there should be more options for different family members; i.e. if a student's primary guardian/person who's paying for the lessons is not their parent. Some to consider are grandmother/father, aunt/uncle, or create a generic "guardian" or "family member".

In MusicTeachersHelper, if you click the date in the calendar you get the following drop down menu:
*Add event
*View day
*Delete events
*Create invoices
*Email students
*Reconcile allThe I'd really like to have in SH are:
*Create invoices
*Email studentsThe "X" does the delete events; it's already easy to switch to a day view; adding an event is already easy enough; SH uses the attendance page to reconcile so really not needed.
