Add other repeating options
It would be great to be able to set the calendar to repeat an event on designated weeks such as on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Currently there are only repeating options in week blocks; if you have a program that happens on the 2nd and 4th weeks, any month with 5 Tuesdays throws this whole cycle off. Vote for this and I'll give you a cookie.

Split an invoice to bill more than one person/party
The following scenarios require splitting an invoice and sending to two different persons/parties:
1) If a student's parents are divorced or separated, but share the cost of lessons
2) If a student or class is partially funded by a third party. For example: We teach a music class to one of the Children's programs, which pays half of the tuition. The other half is paid through an endowment fund. Both entities need to be invoiced each month.2 votes -
Accept ACH payments and automatically bill for accrued charges on student accounts from the "auto billing from calendar" feature.
It would be great if there was a way to accrue charges on student accounts for individual lessons from the calendar, choosing a start and end date (i.e. one month), and then automatically charge credit cards and withdrawal funds from checking accounts through ACH payments. This would be a convenience for both the studio and the students!

Please add a detailed report for itemized sales tax collected.
Please add a detailed report for itemized sales tax. Lesson are not taxable, however music books, Tshirt etc are taxable. A report is needed that can be filterable by date (year/quarter), and will show all invoices that include taxable inventory. The ability to pull a report that has an itemized list of sales taxes paid is critical for accounting purposes. It needs to be filterable by date, amount, invoice number and includes a total so we don't have to go through a whole year of invoices just to look for tax amounts. Automatic Client/Teacher Tailored Schedules
The schedule of events that can be downloaded into excel should also have the student and teacher contact information as an option and our company contact information.

Point of Sale (POS)
Better Support for: Inventory, Sales, Bar code generator, Bar code scanner, Receipt printer, Cash Drawer. We are building a store to support our 130 + students and would rather be able to integrate student lesson payments with the store and visa versa. Could you provided a way to upload inventory from a spread sheet (csv file). 100 pieces of sheet music from one supplier will require me to hire some one just to input the data one at a time, No thanks!

Messages for teacher on 1st page that opens
on the first page that opens when a teacher logs in there should be a message center to tell the teacher any important things like messages, cancellations, changes to the schedule since their last login etc. like an internal messaging center for the staff and teacher to communicate with one another through the studio helper.

Managing Locations Availability
My studio is shared with another organization. The locations I use to teach in vary through out the week. I need to be able to edit the times allowed for each individual room. This would mean a room could only be scheduled if:
1) the room is available
and
2) the teacher is available
right now I can only manage global studio times and teachers times...i need to be able to manage location times as well

Packages to be Exportable
We have a lot of packages registered. Maintaining them within studiohelper has gotten very difficult. We are not able to compare what was previously there and what has been changed.
We need a functionality to export the packages out as excel or csv.4 votes -
Add "Lead" as a new student category and create a customizable mailing list form so that we can capture leads from our website.
It would be good to know what the webform was attached to so we could place those leads in specific categories.

Mass Update Feature For Invoices
It would be nice to be able to update multiple invoices at once just as you can mass select and print invoices or mass delete. This would allow a studio to update all invoices at the end of a month and apply any credit to the next invocie (or see any lesson schedule changes) without having to manually go through each invoice.

I love the web and registration page integrated in music teachers helper.

Add logo to studio helper interface
It would be great to be able to add your company's logo to the interface of Studio Helper, instead of the plain text in the top left corner of the screen.

Music Teachers Helper has a repertoire tracker that I and the teachers in my studio really like. It would be great to see the same repertoire tracker in Studio Helper.

Track outstanding invoices based on the day the students have their lesson
It would be nice to see who has an outstanding balance based on the day they are on the calendar. For example. It's Tuesday and I want to make a list of outstanding invoices for people who are coming in JUST on Tuesday.

A Real Time Calendar
Is there any way to have Studio Helper refresh the Calendar page in real time? For instance with "Google Docs" a document can be viewed by multiple users at the same time and adjusted by one user (or many) and everyone sees these "realtime adjustments" without refreshing the page or screen. This would certainly help our studio with 10+ rooms running concurrently sometimes and the summer schedule changes that occur daily and oftentimes hourly. This would definitely save our office manager time and my staff would always be "live."
With Google (for instance) all realtime adjustments made by the manager…

Make the 1/2hr times visible on the calendar(i.e. 3:30) Make them a bit darker across the calendar to distinguish them from the ":00" spots.
The Calendar would be easier to read if the 1/2 hr times were visible. So it read on the side 3, 330, 4, 430, etc. not just on the hour. It would also be great if on the 1/2hr times on the calendar they were a bit darker to distinguish them from the hr. times. Basically, it would make the Calendar easier to read if you added those times and darkened every other line. Thanks!

add a cash sale invoice so we can use it for studio's that have retail stores as also
for studio's that have retail stores as well need to have a cash sale invoice so the customer does not need to stand there while we input the 2 step process of creating an invoice then going in and paying for the invoice. In the cash sale you would enter the invoice and you would input how they pd cheque, cash or visa and then it would be marked pd all on the same page.
